Psychedelic Compound (DMT) for Treatment-Resistant Depression

If standard antidepressants haven’t worked for you, you’re not alone. Many people with Treatment-Resistant Depression struggle to find an effective option. atai Therapeutics Inc. is researching an investigational treatment that includes DMT, a psychedelic compound, combined with psychological support.

This study is designed for individuals with major depression who have not responded to traditional antidepressant treatments. By participating, you may gain access to a potential new approach under the care of experienced clinical researchers.

You may be eligible if you:

• Are 18 to 65 years of age
• Have been diagnosed with major depression (single or recurrent episodes)
• Have not responded to 2–5 antidepressant treatments for your current episode
• Meet additional study criteria

What to Expect:

• The study lasts five months
• Participation involves a combination of remote and in-clinic visits, including three dosing days.
• Study clinicians will provide medical support to help taper off certain medications, including current antidepressants
• Reimbursement may be available for travel and other study-related expenses
