Tory has a background in functional brain research and neurotechnology. She graduated with Master of Applied Science in Engineering from Simon Fraser University and Bachelor in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Guelph.
Tory has worked with a broad spectrum of clinical equipment from heart implants to cyclotrons. She is passionate about neuroplasticity, medical imaging, artificial intelligence, and medical device design. Having worked in various environments including hospitals, water treatment facilities, university research labs, food processing plants, and even circus tents, Tory is working to apply brain health research in order to create solutions for real healthcare problems.
When not working, Tory is on a mission to explore the West Coast’s quirkiest activities, shows, art exhibits, and restaurants.
